Updated Guidance

Offer COVID-19 Testing

Prioritize diagnostic testing for people who:

  • Have new symptoms of COVID-19
  • Were exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the past two weeks
  • Attended a gathering of 10 or more people in the past two weeks

Consider regularly screening people who may have an increased risk for exposure to COVID-19 or of exposing others to COVID-19.

For guidance on COVID-19 diagnostic testing and screening, see Health Alert #38 (October 14, PDF).
