NYC Annual Tax Season Initiative

Since 2002, DCA has coordinated the City’s Annual Tax Season Initiative, which has the following goals:

Increase the availability of and access to high-quality free tax preparation services in New York City
Increase the number of eligible New Yorkers claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and other valuable tax credits
Use tax time as an opportunity to build assets among low- and moderate-income New Yorkers

Tax Season Literature Request Form

DCA can deliver NYC Free Tax Prep brochures and/or posters to your organization so you can encourage eligible New Yorkers to file their taxes for free. .
